Water Shortages

As some of you may be aware, certain parts of the UK are technically experiencing a drought. Yes, wet and windy UK is short of water.

Now, it has been clear for many years that access to water is going to be one of the key struggles as we get further and further into this century. I myself have been thinking for several years now that to lok after my children properly I should be buying some land in somewhere like Scotland with it's own water supply (but I probably won't do it).

That's all well and good, but the reason for this post, and the question I want answered is will the Water Companies give me a reduction on my bill for their inability to deliver the service that they have offered (er, water)?

I doubt it! (how grumpy am I tonight?)
